Josephe Batard. Camping. April 27th , 2018.
Summer‘s over and most parents and families are storing away memories of both summer and summer camp (if they attended of course). However there are many reasons to keep thinking about summer camps and camps in general. Don‘t put thoughts of camp on mothballs!
Camping: For a lot of people camping is much more than just recreation. Camping outdoor can be one of those activities that can be enjoyed throughout the year and is an activity for all ages but can very popular with the kids. When you take the rustic approach you can enjoy camping by using what nature provides. There is the fresh air going on nature hikes fishing making nature crafts studying nature itself and many other activities camping can be fun for anyone. A memorable camping trip relies on choosing a great place and being prepared.
In addition to the two previously discussed camp types I want to point out two additional classifications: Classroom and Field Instruction. Due to the limited availability of spring football some camps are conducted in a classroom-only mode. Others guarantee live snaps on the field at colleges and universities when teams are conducting spring scrimmages. Both can be valuable learning experiences and I wanted to point out this difference as we discuss our checklist.
